Payment Optimization

VoltPay automatically routes each payment through the cheapest, fastest rail available for that specific corridor.

The Stablecoin Sandwich

For most international payments, VoltPay uses this pattern:

Your USD → USDC (via Bridge.xyz) → Local currency offramp → Contractor's bank

This bypasses the correspondent banking network entirely, eliminating:

  • FX markup from your bank (typically 2-5%)
  • Correspondent bank fees ($15-30 per hop)
  • Receiving bank fees ($10-25)

Result: Payments that cost $48+ via traditional wire cost $3-5 through VoltPay.

Savings Reports

After each pay run, you receive a savings report showing:

  • What you paid through VoltPay
  • What the same payments would have cost via bank wire
  • Your total savings for this run and cumulative to date

Per-Corridor Optimization

VoltPay learns which rails work best for your specific payment corridors. Over time, routing improves as the system identifies:

  • Fastest delivery paths per country
  • Most reliable rails per corridor
  • Optimal timing for currency conversion
